Nans Lombard is an conceptuel artist who establishes his practice in a mix of differents universe. He questionne in his work, the place of art in our society and its relations with the luxury industry.

 

Passionate about contemporary art since childhood, Nans Lombard realizes is higher studies in plastic arts in the city of Aix en Provence. His work involves to work with objects, images, logos that have a high aesthetic value.

 

The place of aesthetics in contemporary art is questioned, and his work sometimes takes a sociological view of the place of art in our mass culture. The boundaries between art and luxury are questionned but not only ; the artistic critical sense unfolds as background of a world where sponsorship and artketing are kings.

 

The object is played as foiled, in between different worlds that intersect to better be questionned. The imaging reinvented based on the modification of codes and contemporary iconography brands.

 

Nans Lombard was born on 13/07/1989 in Brazil. He studied Art History at the Plastic Arts University of Aix en Provence. And acquired a Masters Degree in Image management and digital creation.
